KJ Fletcher is in 7th grade at Walker Mill Middle School, where he’s maintained at 4.2 since arriving. A self-proclaimed artist since 3rd grade, KJ paints, does graphic design, plays the saxophone and has had half a dozen written works published. KJ recently discovered a passion for culinary and has become quite the baker, making cakes, cookies, doughnuts and a host of delicious desserts from scratch. He lives with his family in Upper Marlboro.

Hook E. Free is a graphic designer, webmaster, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and book illustrator based in Fort Washington, MD. His illustrations are featured in the 2018 children's book, Mariah's Maracas. His artwork has been exhibited in area exhibitions, including the 2018 Kwanzaa in August exhibit,
